FTCC believes that setting a strong educational foundation in the Early Years is one of the Keys to success in a child's education. We have developed programs that are strength-based and promote your child to excel to the next level. The programs are directed by your child's interests and skills. Our Programs are focused on bringing curriculum and play together in a healthy balance.

Shelter Child Care Programs

Emergency Child Care for service users for important appointments such as: court appearances, school, doctor appointments etc.

School Break Camps

Full time and Part time programs during PA days Winter and Summer Break

Early Intervention Programs

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

ABA is a is a scientific approach to understanding behavior. ABA therapy helps children learn skills. Skills commonly worked on include communication, academic, social, play, activities of daily living, and behvaior. ABA services can be recommended for children who either have a diagnosis of autism or who present with challenges in learning that may benefit from ABA methodologies.

Occupational Therapy

In early intervention, occupational therapy (OT) practitioners promote the function and engagement of infants and toddlers and their families in everyday routines by addressing areas including activities of daily living, rest and sleep, play, education, fine motor, sensory, and social participation.

Physical Therapy

In early intervention, physical therapy (PT) practitioners will help your child learn to master skills such as holding up their head, sitting up, crawling, pulling themselves up to stand, and walking. Physical therapists offer hands-on training for movement, feeding, and play.

Speech Therapy

Speech Therapists treat communication and language difficulties. Therapy focuses on communication, expressive langauge, and receptive language in young children.
Special Instruction

Special Instructor (SI) is a special education teacher who specializes in supporting and understanding the social, emotional and cognitive development of young children and to help them learn and grow well

After Discharge Supports

FTCC’s Emergency Crisis Prevention Child Care Programs are 24/7 programs that are dedicated to ensuring children of families experiencing hardship affecting their mental health e.g. unbareable stress, illness, and domestic abuse, have a safe place to stay up to 48 hours while their guardians receive the help they need.
